The new Network feature will allow you to search and connect with colleagues and experts across specialities. Quickly add peers to your professional network to then request or give endorsements to each other. There will also be a profile badge rewarded to users who have connected with 20 or more colleagues to symbolise trust, expertise, and excellence in healthcare.
Below is an easy step-by-step guide on how to navigate around this new feature and get started on connecting and growing your network.
How to connect?
Firstly, you would need to log in to your Dashboard. Then, click onto the 'My network' tab as shown below:
Here you can search for colleagues to connect with by either entering their name in the search bar or finding them via the ‘People you may know’ section. Then click the blue ‘Connect’ button once their profile appears. Please note that only when the connection request has been accepted by your colleague, you can give and request an endorsement.
In the sub-page ‘Connections’, you will also find your ‘Pending requests’ and ‘Sent requests’.
Pending requests: these are the connection requests which have been sent to you to accept
Sent requests: these are the requests which have been sent by you still waiting to be accepted by your peer
By clicking on the ‘Colleagues’ tab, you can view a list of all the clinicians you have connected with already. Clicking the ‘View profile’ button will redirect you to the live profile of that colleague.
