Your Doctify calendar allows you to advertise your clinic hours across all of your listed practices.
Adding availability helps patients to quickly and easily view when you may be available for an appointment - as shown below.
If you do not wish to add clinic times to you profile page, patients will still have the opportunity to request an appointment with you, however this will require further organisation.
How to Add Availability to your Calendar
To upload available slots to the calendar, you will need to locate the 'Calendar' tab along the left hand side once you have logged in.
You will then need to locate the time and date of when you would like to start advertising available slots and click into the empty white space - here you will be given the option to 'Advertise on Doctify', 'Add appointment' or 'Indicate out of office'.
To add clinic slots to your profile page please click 'Advertise on Doctify' and you will be prompted to customise the availability as appropriate.
You will need to select the appropriate practice from the drop down list and then confirm start time, duration and number of slots you wish to advertise.
If you would like to repeat the advertisement please click either daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly - there is also the option of 'none' if you would not like to re-advertise.
Click 'Save' to confirm your selection and the chosen slots will appear in your calendar, highlighted in the corresponding practice colour. These will also be visible on your profile for patients.
How to Add an Appointment to your Calendar
If you wish to use your Doctify Calendar to keep track of upcoming appointments, you can enter patient details safely from within the 'Calendar' tab.
In the same way as before, click the time required and select ' Add Appointment' or 'Convert to an Appointment' if the time slot was previously advertised as available.
From here, you have the ability to add all patient details securely and ensure future patients cannot request an appointment for this time slot.
How to Indicate Out of Office
You can click 'Indicate Out of Office' to indicate personal holidays or annual leave and override any existing availability, making appointment slots disappear from the search page and your public profile.
Simpy select a particular slot to view the options shown above. Type a 'Title' that is applicable (this will not be visible to patients) and select the start and end dates to ensure that no available appointments are open to patient requests.
How to Change or Delete Availability from your Calendar
If your clinic times change or you no longer wish to advertise particular slots you can click directly on a slot and select 'Update the Availability'.
To amend this availability please select the correct practice and change the start and end time before clicking 'Update'. Alternatively, please select 'Delete' to remove the time slot entirely - it will no longer appear in your calendar or your profile page.
Availability Not Showing?
If your calendar availability is not showing please double check that you have not added this via the 'My Practices' tab which also contains a calendar.
Adding your weekly working hours through the 'My Practices' section is for your own diary management and not for public viewing. You will need to follow the instructions above in the 'Calendar' tab for availability to be visible to patients visiting your profile.
