If your chosen healthcare professional is conducting a remote video consultation, you will receive an email invitation and you can follow these quick steps to enter the call:

Joining from a Desktop computer or Laptop.

  • Locate your confirmation email sent from hello@doctify.co.uk

  • At the correct time and date, click the 'Join Consultation' button within the email.

  • You will be directed to your unique and secure video consultation room.

  • Enter your full name and select 'Join Room'.

  • You must now wait for your healthcare professional to admit you into the video room.

  • Once admitted, you will immediately enter into the video room where your healthcare professional will be ready to conduct your consultation.

Selecting or Changing your Device Settings

Having now been admitted to the video consultation room, you may need to configure your audio and video settings for a smooth consultation experience.

If your consultant is having difficulty seeing or hearing you, please locate the settings icon, found in the top right corner of your screen.

Audio Input - Select the preferred microphone from the dropdown and ensure that the visual microphone bar fills green when speaking.

Audio Output - Select the preferred speaker or headphones from the dropdown menu.

Video-Input - Choose from the available options and ensure the example video input is displaying correctly.

**We recommend that you choose the default audio and video devices provided for optimum configuration. **

Joining from your phone

If you have a smartphone, you can download our Doctify Video Consultation app from the Google Play store or the Apple Store for free.

Once you have downloaded it, you just need to click on the link to join the room from the email that we sent you and this will prompt the app to open up and ask you to enter your name and join. You will also be asked for a room code, this will need to be provided by the Practice or Clinician themselves and does not appear in the email.

If you'd like any further assistance, please don't hesitate to get in touch via our contact form or via Live Messenger during operating hours.
