At Doctify, we’re committed to delivering tools that empower healthcare providers to engage with their patients, while also adhering to local regulations. To better support our Australian clients, we’re introducing an update to the review reply function tailored to meet the strict advertising guidelines in Australia.
🏹 The Objective
This update allows Australian clients to respond to patient reviews through a structured and compliant “fixed reply” system. By doing so, we ensure our clients can acknowledge feedback without violating local advertising regulations.
🆕 What’s Changing?
Fixed Reply Functionality:
Australian clients will now have access to a single fixed-response option.
The response will include the practice’s contact number, encouraging direct communication between the patient and provider.
Example fixed reply:
“Your healthcare provider has contacted Doctify thanking you for your feedback. Please reach out to them directly to discuss the matter on {Provider Number}.”
Compliance at the Core:
Open-text replies are disabled for Australian clients to align with local advertising rules.
A clear instructional message will be displayed, explaining the fixed-reply limitations.
Enhanced User Experience:
The dashboard will show who posted the reply, including the user’s name, date, and time, providing clarity and accountability.
Tenancy-Level Configuration:
The platform now supports tenancy-specific settings, enabling precise control over which clients have access to open-text or fixed-reply systems.
🤔 Why It Matters
By enabling a compliant response mechanism, we’re addressing a critical need for our Australian clients who value the ability to engage with patients. This update ensures:
Continued trust and adherence to regulations.
Improved client satisfaction, reducing concerns about the inability to reply to reviews.
