📔 Nuffield Bookings on Doctify

We’ve expanded our integration with Nuffield Health to allow patients browsing Doctify.com/uk to book appointments directly with Nuffield specialists and practices. This enhancement is designed to increase visibility and drive real patient bookings—bringing measurable value to your Doctify profile.

Why This Matters

Until now, many Nuffield listings on Doctify were passive, displaying profile information but not offering a way for patients to act. With Nuffield Bookings enabled, your availability is surfaced directly on your profile, allowing patients to instantly request an appointment.

How It Works

Enabled Automatically for Eligible Specialists

Doctify checks the Nuffield API to identify which specialists and practices have bookable slots available. If your availability is listed in the Nuffield system, your profile on Doctify will be automatically updated to show the “Book online” button.

If your availability is removed from the Nuffield API, Doctify will disable the booking feature on your profile.

🧑‍⚕️ What Patients See

When a patient visits your profile:

  • If Nuffield appointment slots are available, they’ll see a “Book online” button and icon.

  • On your profile’s location panel, patients will clearly see which practices have availability and which do not.

This helps patients quickly identify when and where they can book to see you.

📩 Booking and Confirmation

Once a patient selects a time and completes the booking form:

  • Their details are submitted securely via the Nuffield API.

  • A confirmation is returned, and the booking is registered with the relevant practice.

What You'll See in the Dashboard

When a booking is made via this integration, it will appear in your Doctify dashboard with the “Booked through: Doctify – Nuffield” label. This makes it easy to track exactly where your patient enquiries are coming from.
