📅 Best Practices: How & When to Post

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Posting effectively isn’t just about what you share — timing, format, and consistency play a huge role in engagement. Here’s how to make your posts count.

✨ What to Post:

  • “3 things I’ve learned about managing [condition]”

  • Anonymised case reflections

  • Research, guideline updates, or industry news

  • Wellbeing tips and peer support insights

  • Invitations for collaboration (research, surveys, pilots)

  • Events you attend or organise — share key takeaways or highlights

  • Job opportunities at your practice or hospital

⏰ When to Post:

  • Frequency: 1–2 quality posts per week

  • Best Days: Tuesday–Thursday

  • Best Times: 8–11am or 1–3pm

  • Golden Rule: Consistency > volume. Regular posts build recognition and trust.

🙌 Engagement Tips:

  • End posts with an open question to encourage discussion

  • Reply to comments to keep conversations alive

  • Use a mix of formats: text, article links, images, or infographics
