Automating review requests via SMS is one of the easiest and most effective ways to collect consistent, verified feedback from your patients. It helps you build trust, showcase your care, and improve your online reputation — all without adding to your daily admin. With Compucare, you can set up follow-up messages that send automatically after appointments, using your personalised Doctify review link to make the process seamless for both you and your patients.

How to Set Up Doctify Review Requests in Compucare

1. Go to SMS Settings

  • First, head over to Compucare and locate the SMS settings.

  • Then toggle “Send to mobiles” so you can view the full list of SMS notification options.

2. Choose the Company (Optional)

If you’re part of a multiple-company hospital, you can select the specific company you want the messages to be sent from — or simply leave this blank to apply it across all.

3. Enable Follow-Up Messages for Outpatients

To send a post-appointment message with your Doctify review link:

  • Scroll to the Patient Outpatient Notifications section.

  • Toggle “Use follow up messages”.

  • Set the follow-up days — we recommend setting this to 1 day after the appointment.

  • In the Follow up template dropdown, select the Doctify Outpatient Feedback SMS template.

  • Choose your notification send time (i.e. the time of day you want the message to be sent).

  • Press Save.

4. Set Up Inpatient Follow-Up Messages (Optional)

If you’d also like to collect reviews from inpatients, the process is the same:

  • Toggle “Use follow up messages” under the relevant section.

  • Set the number of follow-up days (again, we recommend 1).

  • Select your Doctify Inpatient SMS template.

  • Set the send time, and Save your settings.

Creating Doctify Templates in Compucare

  1. Navigate to SMS settings.

  2. In either the outpatient or inpatient follow-up template dropdown, click New.

    This will take you to the Letter Designer, where you can build your Doctify review request template from scratch.

Writing Your Doctify Message

In the Letter Designer, you can write your message using merge inserts to personalise it automatically. For example:

  • To include the patient's name, search for “Patient Name (Correspondence)” in the search bar and drag it to the desired location.

Example Doctify SMS Template:

Hi {{Patient Name (Correspondence)}}, we hope you're doing well after your recent visit. We'd love to hear your feedback – it only takes a minute and really helps!
