What is a Doctify patient review and how do I submit one?

After an appointment with a Doctify Healthcare Provider, you (the patient) can submit anonymous feedback on your experience with the clinician or practice. These reviews help future patients make a more educated decision about their healthcare provider. 

How Do I Submit a Doctify Review for a Specialist?

In order to submit your feedback to Doctify, your healthcare provider will give you their unique review link or ask you to scan a QR code following your appointment or treatment. 

Here is an example of what a review link would look like if you receive one from a healthcare provider - ***** please note this is not a test link.

They may send this unique link via email, SMS or even in a letter. You could also be asked to complete a review in the clinic itself via a tablet or smartphone. Any of these methods will allow your review to be published on the Doctify website.

What Do I Need to Include in the Review?

First, you will be asked to give your practitioner a star rating of 1 to 5 (5 being the best) in three categories:

  • Overall Experience

  • Bedside Manner

  • Explanation 

Secondly, will then be invited to leave additional feedback about your experience. All ratings and feedback are anonymous. This feedback is hugely valuable for other patients as well as for the practitioner and the more details you can share about your treatment, the practitioner, and your overall experience the more other patients will be able to use it to make educated decisions about their own healthcare provider.

The final step is to tell us about the reason for your visit. This will help patients search reviews to find healthcare providers with specific experience in the condition or procedure they are searching for.

Once you have rated your practitioner you might have the option to submit feedback for the clinic or hospital that you were seen at. Please note not every review will have the option to review the clinic and you may just receive a request to leave feedback for the Specialist.

Similarly to above, you will be asked to submit a star rating of 1-5 (5 being the best) based on four categories:

  • Overall Experience

  • Friendliness

  • Wait time

  • Cleanliness

You will also have the opportunity to give your thoughts and experience for that clinic.

The final step in the survey is to verify your review via mobile. Once you have inputted your mobile number you will receive an SMS with a link to verify your review.

Review verification is crucial for us to maintain the quality and reliability of the reviews on our platform - as well as to provide total comfort to our patients as they search for the best healthcare provider for them.

How to Submit a Doctify Review from a Tablet/iPad Device

Your clinician or the facility that you attended may be using a tablet with our Doctify Review App to collect your feedback. If so, you can submit a star rating and review for both the doctor and practice on the tablet after you finish your appointment.

This can be done in 3 ways:

1) Use your phone

The app will show a QR code that you will scan with your mobile phone to click on the notification to leave a review.

2) Use this device

Use the app there and then to leave a review

3) Review us later

Entering your phone number will send a provider's unique review link via SMS to your mobile phone. Clicking on the link will take you to the survey online.

Whichever method you choose to complete the survey you will be subsequently asked to verify your review. This is done by leaving a phone number and following the SMS link sent to your mobile phone.
